Installation Technician - Advisor

This position is integral to the success and growth of the company. It involves 3 functions as part of the position, training where required. All functions are to be carried out with attention to detail, integrity, efficiency and accuracy.

Role Breakdown

Fitting and Installation 

• You should be able to use various tools of the trade e.g. drill, saw, measuring stick

• Have the ability to follow job sheets accurately and efficiently

• Have the ability to plan jobs efficiently, measure twice cut once

• Ensure curtain fitting position is correct 

• Curtains and blinds are to be handled with care and correctly installed

• A large part of the fitting process is ensuring client satisfaction, the ability to pay attention to detail and take care around the client’s home is absolutely mandatory

Track Making 

This position requires the manufacture of tracks detailed on job sheets placed by the Sales Consultants

Raw Material and Equipment Control 

It is imperative that track and component stock levels be maintained in order that all sales orders can be filled. 

Interior Advisor 

• On occasions, you may be required to go to a customer’s home and measure for window furnishings

• Have a full clean driver’s licence and be comfortable driving a large vehicle

• Attention to detail is a must

• Accurate with numbers and figures

• Work well within a team as well as work independently
